Time to Open the Windows!
It's approaching summer and time to open the windows and benefit from Mother Nature's free air conditioning. One household annoyance are those windows that have been painted shut.
Here's a tip:
Find a sharp blade such as a utility knife, spackling blade or a large X-acto knife. Trace along the edge of the frame, to crack the seal. If it's still stuck and just won't budge, take a two-by-four piece of wood, lay it flat against the frame, and tap it with a hammer to undo the paint seal. There is a chance you will need to touch up the paint job, but a small price to pay for the wonderful spring fresh air.
